ROCVAL is an independent company of consulting services in which has served its customers since 1976 accredited by the RICS.

Gilbert Dessallien
Gilbert Dessallien co-founded ROUX-SAVILLS in 1976. He was then Managing Director of the enterprise FEAU SOPREC. Gilbert Dessallien has been a key player in the Commercial Real Estate sector in France over the past three decades.
As a Fellow of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), his peers entrusted him with the responsibility of President of the French branch in 2002-2003. Moreover his commitment to the promotion of professional ethics has naturally qualified him to be part of the Ethics Commission in London.
Gilbert is also a member of the IFEI (French Institute of Real Estate Expertise) and the Chamber of Real Estate Experts of France FNAIM.
Gilbert is fluent in French and English.

Matthieu Dessallien
Matthieu returned to the direction of ROCVAL in mid 2011. During the last 5 years, Matthieu has been project manager at FDR Sodearif and Development (a part of the Bouygues Group).
Matthieu’s distinguished accomplishments include, realizing the construction of a 10,000-m2 commercial building (a Bouygues headquarters unit and one of the first BBC buildings), as well as a 4,000-m2 complex for a power and electricity operator. He has also worked on large development projects, notably, outfitting 50,000-m2 of HON housing). Matthieu also managed restructuring operations such as a large public housing building refitted to include 50 student apartments in Paris. Finally, during his time at FRD, Matthieu sought out and analyzed the potential development and reconstruction of over one hundred buildings, and conducted dozens of feasibility studies on office buildings, housing properties, commercial centers, and student housing sites.
Additionally, while working with AFIAA (Zürich) and ING REIM (Paris), Matthew has gained invaluable experience with direct and indirect investments, and fundraising.
A member of RICS since 2009, Matthew is also a member of the Board of Urban Planning and Real Estate Promotion (Urbanisme et Promotion Immobilière.)
Matthieu is fluent in French, English and German.
